Sam began his construction career as a teenager, but 26 years of dairy farming shaped his approach to managing projects. When dairy farming was no longer sustainable, he and his sons took on part-time construction work. The side job evolved into LB Contractors, a full-time company that has served this region of Pennsylvania for 6 years.
Family is still at the heart of the business. LB Contractors is family-owned, and most of the crew are Sam’s sons, working with him on every project. The company usually runs two crews at a time, and sometimes three if needed, so jobs keep moving without being rushed or understaffed.
With more than two decades of hands-on residential construction experience, the Amish-owned company serves Millersburg, Harrisburg, Sunbury, and the surrounding communities in Dauphin, Northumberland, and Lebanon counties.
